Archie’s Evo VI… Sort Of

What can be said about Archie’s car that hasn’t already been written in magazines? It’s a work of art. It’s commitment. It’s dedication. It’s just as much an evo as any other evo out there, but it started off as a Mirage.

Once again I’m doing a feature about an evo. But this one’s a bit different. Archie Concon’s 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage has been breaking necks for years, and for good reason. Popularly known as the two-door Evo, this car went through a full Evo VI conversion and it’s nothing short of amazing.

To the average joe out there this car is nothing more than another modified car. To the enthusiast this is a work of art. This is a perfect example of what can be achieved with passion and time. It’s not about buying all the parts, it’s about buying the right ones.

I don’t have much to write about this build, I really don’t think I can do it justice. I would rather just show the photos I captured and try to give you guys a glimpse into Archie’s work on his two-door Evo. I’m sure this isn’t the first time you’ve seen this car, and I’m sure it won’t be the last!
